  This was the worst service I've ever received in my life! The ordering policy is if you want all you can eat EVERYONE at your table must have the all you can eat dinner . If you want a plated dinner then everyone must have a plated dinner. 2 members of my party wanted all you can eat we were told we were not allowed to do that. The 2 members then asked to sit at a different table so they could have the all you can eat dinner since the other members of our party wanted plated meals. The waitress went to get the manager and we assumed our 2 members were getting moved.... No he asked us to find another restaurant to eat at! We tried to explain that we were not trying to be disrespectful just wanted to make sure everyone in our party got what they wanted to eat. We then apologized for any confusion and stated that two of the members of our party were law enforcement and that there's no way that we would ever want to upset anyone. We just wanted to insure everyone got what they wanted. The manager didn't care he said nope you have to leave!! There's no reason why we were escorted out of the restaurant we were completely polite and because they didn't want to honor our request to split our party they got mad! Worst service ever do not go to this restaurant!

  The Dam Site Inn is a fabulous experience in both atmosphere and freshly prepared salads & meals. My favorites are their chicken dinners and lake perch dinners. The meals have always had refills offered for the sides of smashed potatoes, homemade noodles. One must try mixing the peas in the smashed potatoes. Mmmm...mmmm...good!. The Dam Site Inn has been a part of my dining experience since the late 50's when during summer vacations, my parents would bring us kids...(dressed up too!) on the Friday night before heading back downstate. Many family and friends have enjoyed the ambiance of hummingbirds and orioles feeding outside within the panoramic views. The relish tray before the main meal has about 8 items to choose from...a great appetizer. Be sure to have Shane make you a grasshopper too! Looking forward to 2017!

  This restaurant is fantastic! We have been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. The service is phenomenal! We love seeing Ray every time we come in. Sides are served family style and we always ask for more! The noodles are homemade, excellent mashed potatoes, and the chicken is sensational! To top it off, Dam Site Inn has an elegant ambiance of the past and boasts some of the most beautiful views in Pellston. This is sure to be a regular stop whenever you are in town!
